Overview

Fayetteville Technical Community College is pleased to be a member of the North Carolina Advanced Manufacturing Alliance (NCAMA).  Grant funding has strengthened our Engineering and Applied Technology programs which are preparing students for careers in advanced manufacturing.  The funding is being used to update lab equipment, hire support and instructional staff, enhance curricula and strengthen relationships with local industry.

As a member of the Alliance, the College will offer structured student support services, targeted job training, and workforce development to students enrolled in the Computer Integrated Machining, A/C Heating and Refrigeration Technology and Welding programs.  Highlights of the programs include:

  • Flexible learning options
  • Mobile learning programs promoting access to online courses and learning applications
  • Career Readiness Certification (CRC)
  • Curricula on iTunes University, digital content, learning communities, and advanced manufacturing career guidance.
