The NC Advanced Manufacturing Alliance

The North Carolina Advanced Manufacturing Alliance is a consortium of ten community colleges, local Workforce Investment Boards (WIBs), industries, non-profit entities, and local education authorities. Its goal is to increase the number of North Carolinians with certificates, diplomas and degrees in advanced manufacturing disciplines within a two year period. This Alliance is representative of North Carolina's wonderful diversity from the Blue Ridge Mountains in the west to the waters of the Pamlico Sound in the east and encompasses a wide range of individuals served through 12 manufacturing-related education and training programs.

In addition to coursework developed by NCAMA colleges through responsive interactions with industry, the Alliance is accredited training sponsor of the National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER) and is able to certify instructors that have completed NCCER instructor training. This enables NCAMA to provide nationally certified credentials in a range of fields.
